Valentine’s day is coming up, and although Ive never been a huge vday person, I’m not one to pass up chocolate and flowers (: There seems to be a lot of pressure surrounding this Holiday, but if anything, take it as an opportunity to show someone you care about (doesn’t have to be your significant other) a little extra love, whether its a few words of affirmation, an extra prayer, or a special treat – doesn’t have to be big!
We will be spending time as a family on Valentine’s day, but I have a little staycation/babymoon planned for this weekend, so it will double as our Valentine’s day celebration. My sister is graciously taking the kids for a night, so I have a hike and a nice dinner, and an uninterrupted night of sleep planned.
If you are looking to shower someone with a gift, I have some of my picks linked below, as well as some NO SPEND GIFT IDEAS, because you dont need to spend money to show someone you love them (: I also listed some date ideas, all covid friendly if you’re wary of going out.

VALENTINE’S DAY KID ACTIVITIES
For some cute Valentine’s Day crafts and toddler activities, see my Pinterest Board. Every year I make my FAVORITE sugar cookies with the girls to bring to family and friends. Other than that I’m keeping it simple and will pick a couple festive preschool activities (will link in my newsletter this week, sign up here!). See my blog post I wrote a while back with lots of ideas on what to do with your kiddos for Love Day (:
