This month has been kind of a weird one. After going so long without seeing anyone due to stay at home orders, to then a few straight weeks of visiting family, the kids were a little out of wack mid June. Throw a potty training toddler and baby who is not eating enough. So we spent the second part of June trying to get back into some type of rhythm (hence my recent post on routines.)
I also broke my phone, bought a new one. The replacement was broken so I had to send it back – all to say I was without a phone for most of June. At first, I was extremely irritated because I use my phone for everything, but once the annoyance passed, it was actually really nice being away from the distraction of news and social media always my fingertips. It also made me realize I should probably have better boundaries with my phone. Working on it.
ANYWAYS here are my favorites for June. I have a few purchases I love, movies and shows I burned through (and why I have no favorite books this month), and some kid entertainment because I’m tired, desperate, and keep buying toys in hopes my kids will stay occupied for more than 5 minutes. ENJOY!

Aerie chiffon Midi Skirt – love this skirt, perfect for summer. Can be worn casual or dressed up fits tts
Aerie Vintage Tie Tshirt – Cute, simple t-shirt, love the little loop detail.
Aerie boyfriend denim shorts – FINALLY shorts that are long and loose. I took a risk buying white shorts and I’m so glad I did because they are comfy and look great.
Aerie Boyfriend Distressed Oversized T-shirts – This shirt is a dream, comfortable and OVERSIZED. Great to wear with leggings, biker shorts, or a knot with a pair of jeans.
Casual Cover up – I got this for the beach because the June gloom is real and this coverup seemed like the perfect solution. Lightweight and so pretty.
Calvin Klein Performance Women’s Impact Reversible Bra Top – I know longer have to double up on sports bras because this one offers enough support without cutting off my breathing.
Resistance Bands – Bands that don’t snap and don’t ride up. Worth every penny.
KID ENTERTAINMENT
Baby Alive Shimmer ‘n Splash Mermaid (Blonde Hair) – I got these dolls for the girls on Amelie’s birthday, mainly because the girls think we need every stuffed animal to join bath time, and this seemed like a good compromise. We take them to the beach, pool, and use them in almost every bath. They simply drain and dry out. The girls love them!
Toy Flower Garden Building – Once this was opened, the girls played with this for 2 straight days. This is great for play and for educational purposes as well!
SHOWS
The Good Morning Show – Apple TV – a drama based on the “me too†movement, great cast
Love life – HBO Max – rom-com feel, also a little drama
Ozarks – Netflix – drama, intense, but so good.
The American Housewife – Hulu – lighthearted comedy
MOVIES – we have been struggling to find good movies to watch, we caved and rented both of these, no regrets.
